Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Juneau County
The Juneau County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a fatal motorcycle crash Saturday morning. It happened on County Highway HH near the intersection of 47th St. in Kildare Township around 9:26 a.m. Police say it appears the motorcycle hit a tree after losing control on a curve. Authorities say the driver, a 62-year-old man, was killed from injuries sustained in the crash. The man's name is being withheld pending notification of the family.

Agawam motorcycle crash off Route 57 leaves operator in critical condition
Authorities in Carroll County say a 56-year-old man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Taneytown. The Carroll County Sheriffs Office says authorities were called to the crash site on Kump Station Road just east of Maryland Route 194 at 10:10 a.m. Saturday. The sheriffs office says the motorcycles driver, John William Hill of Manchester, Md., was pronounced dead at the scene. A preliminary investigation revealed that Hill appears to have failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. He traveled off the side of the roadway onto a shoulder and struck a fence post and wire. Motorcycle driver dead after crash in Carroll County
According to CBS 3 Springfield , media partner of The Republican and MassLive.com, the crash, which was reported at about 6 p.m., involved only the motorcycle. The rider suffered serious injuries and was listed in critical condition at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. The station reported that police said alcohol and speed appeared to be factors in the crash. The off-ramp and a portion of Mill Street were closed to traffic and remained closed at 11 p.m. Accident reconstruction investigators from the Agawam Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section are investigating.

Jupiter motorcycle accident leaves 1 person dead
-- 58-year-old John Henry Regan of Coral Springs is dead this morning after he was struck while riding his motorcycle on I-95 around 3:00 a.m. Florida Highway Patrol officials say that Regan was driving a 1984 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on I-95 between Donald Ross Road and Indian Town Road when he was struck from behind by a 2010 Lexus ES 350 driven by Amanda McClure of Palm City. Investigators at the scene say Regan was thrown from his motorcycle eventually coming to rest in the center grass median and though he was wearing a helmet, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are still investigating the exact cause of the accident and whether or not alcohol was a contributing factor. McClure and her passenger, Sydnee Reeder, both suffered minor injuries and were taken to Jupiter Medical Center for treatment. Motorcycle Crash In Rockbridge Co. Sends Four To The Hospital
Man arrested in fatal SE Charlotte motorcycle crash
on Route 11 northbound at the exit 180 interchange in Rockbridge County. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2013 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide motorcycle was traveling northbound on Route 11 when the operator was approaching a highway work zone. The driverhad to slow down suddenly when he didn't observe a flagman stopping traffic at that location and was then rear ended by a 2012 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide motorcycle. The operator of the motorcycle that was rear ended was Wayne A. Brown, age 65, of Roanoke, VA. he was transported to Carilion Stonewall Jackson hospital in Lexington.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say Paul Stephenson, 51, was traveling south on North Sharon Amity Road in the right-hand lane, when a Lincoln Town Car driven by Kanyon Carter, 39, made a left-hand turn in front of Stephenson's motorcycle. Stephenson applied the brakes and laid the motorcycle down on its right side, sliding on the pavement into the side of the Lincoln, striking the front passenger door, police say. MEDIC responded to the crash and pronounced Stephenson on the scene. Authorities say he was wearing a full-faced helmet. Carter was arrested and charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle and driving while license revoked. His bond was set at $7500.

Motorcyclist dies in South Loop crash
(AP) A funeral service will be held this week for a 22-year-old soldier from New Hampshire who died in a motorcycle crash in Killeen, Texas, while stationed at Fort Hood. Police said Cpl. Tyler Pimpis died Wednesday, Aug. 28, in a collision with a pickup truck. Pimpis, who wasn't wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle. Pimpis, of Londonderry, was a 2009 graduate of Londonderry High School , where he was a member of the varsity lacrosse and football teams. He joined the U.S. Army in January 2010, and served a combat deployment in Afghanistan in 2011 and 2012.

NH soldier killed in motorcycle crash in Texas
Daytona Beach Police say 48-year old Ricky Whitehead was pronounced dead at the scene after the accident on South Clyde Morris Boulevard and Buccaneer Way at around 3 p.m. Police say Whitehead was traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on Clyde Morris approaching the intersection of Buccaneer Way, [and upon] approaching the curve traveled into the southbound lanes of Clyde Morris in between oncoming traffic. Police say Whitehead struck the guard rail on the west side of Clyde Morris and was ejected from the motorcycle. The bike came to rest on the east side of Clyde Morris about 200 feet away. Police say Whitehead was wearing a helmet. Unofficial reports were that people at the scene started CPR until the Daytona Beach Police; Fire Department and EVAC ambulances arrived. Daytona Beach Police also blocked traffic on Clyde Morris Boulevard between International Speedway Boulevard and Richard Petty Boulevard during the accident investigation.

Fiery motorcycle crash northwest of Birmingham sends driver to hospital
CDT, September 3, 2013 A 36-year-old man died Monday night when a car struck his motorcycle in the South Loop, authorities said. Lawrence Talbert, of the 4600 block of South Drexel Boulevard, was riding east on Cermak Road when his motorcycle was hit around 11:15 p.m. by a white Infiniti turning left from South Archer Avenue, authorities said. Talbert was taken to Stroger Hospital and pronounced dead at 11:42 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. The driver of the Infiniti was cited for failing to yield the right of way, Police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said.

Motorcycle accident in Daytona claims Tampa man Saturday (Photos)
An ambulance transported the motorcycle driver from the scene, where a Brookside Fire and Rescue unit and two sheriff's vehicles also responded. A white passenger vehicle involved in the crash showed extensive damage from an impact on the driver's side near the front. The identities of those involved in the crash were not immediately available. Cristy and Ray Bertram heard the crash from inside their home on Cherry Avenue, just feet from where the fiery motorcycle came to rest. "It was a loud popping noise," she said of the impact. She ran from a bedroom to the front door and saw the motorcycle on fire in the street. She yelled for her husband.
