Motorcycle Accident Causes Major Delays On I-395n

One dead, one injured in Quincy motorcycle crash

early Wednesday morning. Police did not identify the man who was hit while riding his motorcycle on northbound I-395 at 12th Street SW a little before 6:30 a.m., but delays compounded quickly as cars were forced into the left lane. Police had the crash cleared by 7 a.m., but gridlock remained. By 8 a.m., drivers were moving at only 10 miles per hour the whole way up I-395N from the Springfield Interchange. Fatal motorcycle crash on I-75 closes lanes in Henry Co.

Police have reopened the previously shut down lanes on Route 1 and traffic has cleared in the area. Guam Fire Department reported one person injured and sent to Guam Memorial Hospital. Police said injuries weren't serious. 9:15 p.m. Southbound traffic on Route 1 near the Airport Hotel is reduced to one lane as police investigate the Motorcycle Accident Lawyer scene of an automobile-motorcycle accident. There is congestion on the northbound lanes as well.

Motorcycle Accident Causes Major Delays on I-395N heard a loud noise, and saw a motorcycle traveling at approximately 60 miles per hour down the street. The motorcycle soon disappeared out of sight, but within seconds the witness came upon the crash. The witness called 911. Police said the man, Shawn Morris, 32, of Dorchester, sustained serious head and chest injuries. He was taken to Boston Medical Center and died from his injuries the next day. A woman passenger, Nicole Mahone, 30, of Quincy sustained serious injuries to her hip and leg, police said. She was taken to Boston Medical Center, where her condition was not immediately known. Police said speed was most likely a factor in the accident.

Motorcycle accident in Tamuning cleared

- All lanes on Interstate 75 have reopened after a fatal crash between a motorcycle and tractor-trailer in Henry County on Thursday. Just before noon, a crash between a motorcycle and tractor-trailer shut down I-75 lanes in both directions north of Hudson Bridge Road, according to Henry County police. There were reports of debris from the crash flying over the median. The motorcycle driver was killed, according to police. The truck driver was not injured. I-75 North was fully shut down at the 224 North bound, police said. Traffic was diverted off of the interstate in relation to the crash.
