2 injured in 2nd Easton motorcycle accident in 2 days

Friday, authorities said. Early scanner reports indicated that an unrestrained female passenger was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered a leg injury. Easton Fire Captain James Walsh said Saturday that the woman, in her fifties, had a compound fracture to her leg. He said another motorcyclist stopped to help the injured woman, using a belt as a makeshift tourniquet to slow her bleeding. An off-duty first responder also stopped to help the injured parties. The belt was still on the woman's leg when Walsh arrived, he said.
