Three hospitalized after Davie motorcycle crash

Merrill man killed in motorcycle crash

EDT, June 10, 2013 DAVIE— Three people were taken to the hospital,  at least one of them in critical condition, after a motorcycle collided with two cars near a Publix in Davie http://attorney-in-temecula.com/more-information/personal-injury/ Sunday afternoon, said police. The accident happened at 1:30 p.m. when a car traveling northbound on University Drive made a left turn into the Publix Plaza colliding with a motorcycle traveling southbound on University Drive, said Davie Police spokesman Capt. Dale Engle. The man on the motorcycle was ejected and the bike continued to hit another car leaving the Publix plaza, located just south of Griffin Road. The man riding the motorcycle, who is in his mid-40s, was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital.

Off-duty Atlantic City officer injured in motorcycle crash

- June 9, 2013 -- An off-duty Atlantic City police officer was injured in a motorcycle accident on Route 40 in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. It happened around 4:45 Sunday afternoon. Authorities say Detective Michael Braxton was travelling inbound on Route 40 when another car changed lanes into his path. Related Content The officer was able to avoid striking the car but the result threw him off his motorcycle and into a street sign. Braxton suffered a leg injury and was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. At the time of the crash, Det. Braxton was travelling with several friends, including other Atlantic City police officers. The other driver did stop at the scene.

Wisniewski was sworn in as a New Baltimore Police Department reserve officer in 2011 and also served as an active duty security officer for the Air Force. He served in Afghanistan and Iraq a total of three times. He is served by his wife and five children. Funeral arrangements are pending. Martin was alone in the vehicle. Martin was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred around 8 p.m.

New Baltimore reserve officer killed in motorcycle crash

The North Naples crash, which occurred about 2:30 a.m. Friday, critically injured Karen E. Bloss, 35, of Maui, Hawaii, who was a passenger on a Fireblade sport bike driven by Joshua William Porter, 23. Bloss was taken to NCH Hospital's downtown Naples campus, Florida Highway Patrol reports show. Jason Ziter, 37, was backing his Jeep Wrangler out of a Naples Park driveway and began traveling east on 105th Avenue North, causing Porter to lay his bike down on its left side. Both Porter and Bloss were ejected and the motorcycle struck the rear exhaust of the Jeep, FHP reports show. In addition to the citation of driving under the influence, Porter was charged with DUI property damage, DUI serious bodily injury, careless driving and no headgear, and no medical benefits for rider over 21.
