1 Injured In Kecksburg Motorcycle Crash

Motorcycle accident sends one man to hospital

The crash reportedly happened around 2:45 p.m. on Route 982 at Clay Pike Road near the Kecksburg Fire Department. The victim was flown by medical helicopter to a local hospital. Theres no word on that persons condition. Stay with KDKA for the latest on this developing story. RELATED LINKS:

Man rescued from ravine after motorcycle crash in Custer County

Roberts Orthodontics The crash happened Wednesday morning on private land about 50 miles southeast of Miles City. Miles City Fire and Rescue Capt. Branden Stevens said the 30-year-old man, whose name was not released, but is from the area where the crash happened, was on the motorcycle and rounding up loose livestock when he tried to ride up the steep ravine and tipped over. The man was injured, and Miles City fire, as well as a medical crew and the Custer County Volunteer Fire Department, responded. Stevens said they had to come in from the top of the ravine, which he described as "a backcountry area thats pretty inaccessible by vehicles." Using a rope system, rescuers traveled about 300 yards down the ravine and stabilized the man. It took about three hours to reach him because of the rugged terrain. After securing the man, a team of seven rescuers moved him to the top of the ravine.

Glencoe Man Motorcycle Crash

The accident http://cortrightlaw.com/personal-injury happened at just after 11 am on Highway 61. 59-year-old James Eiden was pulling out of the Dresbach Rest Area when his Harley Davidson Roadster collided with a northbound Toyota Rav-4 driven by a 23-year-old La Crescent man in a construction zone on the highway. Eiden was taken to the hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Wednesday afternoon the State Patrol had reported that it was a fatal crash, but now says that Eiden is being treated for non life-threatening injuries. His wife was a passenger on the motorcycle also. 59-year-old Michele Eiden of Glencoe was also hospitalized in La Crosse with non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV and his passenger were not hurt.
