One person was killed after an early morning motorcycle crash in Warsaw. Around 1:20 Sunday morning, police were called to the 700 block of West Center Street, just west of downtown. When they got on the scene, they found a motorcycle that hit a parked pick-up truck. 55-year-old Larry Templeton was ejected from his motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet at the time. Man dies in overnight motorcycle accident

Sunday, Aug 25 2013. At this point police released few details of the crash. It appears that a car operated by Carol Harrseh,of New York was turning into a gas station. The motorcyclist was driving straight when the crash happened. The right rear quarter panel of the car, was crushed, where the impact happened. An investigation was conducted which resulted in the west bound lanes of Street Road being closed for several hours. Fire police were requested and closed the road about a quarter mile away.

UPDATE: Man and woman killed in motorcycle crash on Interstate 164

Cleta Shadrick, also 53, died shortly after arriving at St. Marys Medical Center . The couple was participating in a local charity poker run motorcycle ride, said Steve Lockyear, the chief deputy coroner. A witness to the crash told deputies that he heard a loud snapping sound come from the motorcycle just before an apparent tire blowout, according to a Sheriffs Office news release. William Shadrick tried to control his black and orange 1984 Harley-Davidson, but it fell on its side, according to the release. The couple were thrown away from the motorcycle; Neither had been wearing a helmet. The autopsies are scheduled Monday.
