Officials: Glenview man dies in Edens motorcycle crash

ISP: Fatality reported after Edens motorcycle crash By Rosemary Regina Sobol Tribune reporter 2:12 a.m. CDT, August 27, 2013 A motorcyclist who died on the scene this morning after crashing on the Edens Expressway on the city's Northwest Side has been identified, authorities said. The victim, 29-year-old Willie Carrington, was dead on the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. Carrington lived in the 0-100 block of Harlem Avenue in north suburban Glenview, according to the medical examiner's office. The wreck happened at 1:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes near Foster Avenue, according to an Illinois State Police District Chicago trooper.
