Sioux City television station KTIV reports ( http://bit.ly/18sZtru) that a man driving the truck has been arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of a fatal crash and running a stop sign. Sioux City police say the crash happened shortly before 11 p.m. Friday in Sioux City. Investigators say a woman who witnessed the crash performed CPR on the man driving the motorcycle until help arrived, but the man died at the scene. The names of those on the motorcycle have not yet been released. ___

1 killed in Iowa motorcycle crash; man arrested

Lincoln County football game. It was a game about more than touchdowns and tackles, a game about more than punts and passes. For those wearing red and white at Friday's football game between Lincoln and Bourbon County, this game was about the man missing from the sidelines--Lincoln County's Assistant Football Coach, Michael "Mickey" Goodwin. "He meant a lot and not just to kids in the football program but there are other kids that he helped also," said Marvin Robinson, whose son is a senior on Lincoln's football team. On Friday afternoon, just hours before the game was set to start, "Here we are two hours before kick off and we are trying to motivate our team and we get that terrible news," said Lincoln County Head Coach Mike Settles. Police tell us Goodwin was riding his motorcycle down US-27 North in Garrard County when the car in front of him turned onto Jaycees Park Road. At that point, we're told that Goodwin ran into that car and then hit a nearby guardrail. Goodwin later died at UK Hospital, leaving a team and a community in shock.
